Animal Cruelty:

Animal Cruelty There are many types of animal cruelty in the world. If not action is taken against it by 2022 about 22% of species will become extinct. Approximately 1,654,545,000,000 animals or more are killed due to animal cruelty.

Pets- Cat Abuse :

Pets- Cat Abuse About 1.6 million cats die everyday from animal abuse. That would be about 584,000,000 a year. In some states such as California people do pay for animal abuse but in others like China nothing is done. Chinese along with other countries use cats for meat and fur. There are millions of cats being abused everyday.

Pets: Dog abuse:

Pets: Dog abuse They are called a mans best friend but are abuse by them. Millions of dogs are beaten everyday because of boredom and because inhuman individuals aren’t educated enough to take care of their pets. Most dogs after abuse suffer a lot of psychological damage and have shy or aggressive behavior. They can be handicapped for life or suffer health problems. There’s about 12, 000 dog abuse cases. Guillermo Vargas Habacuc was a “artist” that left a dog to die in a exhibition.

Food: Chickens:

Food: Chickens Chickens get their throats slit while being unconscious and then dipped in boiling water to remove the feathers. Some sources say that chickens are still alive when this is done and are still able to feel the pain. Some chickens are killed as young as 6 weeks. They are the most mistreated animal out of all the rest and there are a few laws protecting them 9 billion chickens are “raised” and killed in the United States. Thousands of chickens are killed each hour in a slaughter house.

Food:Pigs:

Food:Pigs Millions of pigs are killed each year because of pig slaughter. Pigs are first chained by the legs and hit with a powered gun that shoots out a metal rod. This makes the animal unconscious and while his heart is still beating, he is lifted up and prepared to get his neck cut off. This process takes 2 minutes.

Entertainment: Colored chicks :

Entertainment: C o l o r e d c h i c k s New born chicks are now being colored for entertainment. Before they are born, dye is injected to their eggs which makes them come out colorful. Most of the chicks used will die because they are sold to kids and not taken care of. Male chicks that are born will be killed automatically within 1 week because they are not wanted.

Entertainment: Circus Animals In some cases the wild animals are trained by intimidation and physical abuse. There have been a lot of reports that the animals are beaten, whipped, and even burned until they do their “job”. The living conditions of the animals are not a concern to the owners. They are not provided with natural living conditions or the right food. They are chained and forced to live, eat, and defecate in the same place. The circus causes mental distress in animals that attacks to people become more common. If and when a animal does a stunt, the behavior goes against their natural instinct.

Animal Testing :

Animal Testing About 25 – 100 million animals are used in testing in the United states each year. Scientists are not required to keep count of the mice, rats, and birds they used for testing. They live and are stored in cages until they are needed for an experiment.. Animals can still feel pain and suffer when nothing is given to them. Animal testing is not worth it because animals can react different than humans do. Animals that are tested have no rights.

Used for fur:

Used for fur About 18 foxes are used to make 1 fur coat. About 50 million animals are violently killed for cloths. Some methods used in killing animals is electrocution, neck breaking, along with many more. Although sometimes no method is used and the animal is skinned ALIVE. Fur “farms” are not farms at all. Animals are caged and killed stolidly. Industries like these reduce animal populations, cause energy costs, and add pollution to the world. Seal fur is also being used so much in fashion that between 2003 and 2005 a million harp seals were killed. Animals wanted for fur would be bears, seals, raccoons, rabbits, minks, beavers, chinchillas, foxes, and even dogs and cats.

Forced Fighting's :

Forced Fighting's Animals like the roasters are forced to fight to death for the amusement of others. There are battle stags which are roasters who fight and are under the age of 2. They fight because there is no way to escape or to do anything except that. Their living conditions are poor and they are forced to walk with weights in their legs to prepare them for fights. The “owners” gain a certain amount of money if their animal wins. The same situations happens in dog fights. Dogs are injured and have to win a battle if they want to keep living. Animal fighting is illegal in all 50 states but it does not mean that it doesn ’ t go on.

Conclusion :

Conclusion  What I learned creating this powerpoint was that there are a lot of options that a person can use when doing one. There are a bunch of colors to choose from as well as fronts, backgrounds, pictures, and you can have as many slides as you want. It was fun to work with powerpoint because it made me learn how I can decorate and make a good presentation. I also learned all about the facts of animal cruelty and how society treats them.
