Work Plan We visited the houses of the people and places where solar devices are used. We took an interviews based upon the questionnaire. We took the photographs of the solar devices which are used along with the owner wherever possible. We also collected the electricity bills before buying the solar device

Results Maximum no. of households are using Solar heater followed by solar cookers. Maximum no. of households brought solar devices during the year 2012 which corresponds to the increase in the electricity changes which is followed by 2013 until May (30%) 89.18% of the households with solar devices registered decrease in the electricity bills. There is substantial decrease in the electricity bills in various categories.

Maximum decrease in the electricity bills is registered in the households were solar heaters is used ( 31.4 %) followed by solar panel which is followed by solar cookers . In the total sample 62.8% people voted for the use of solar devices. The biogas plant is in superb condition even today, excellently working since 38 years without a single repair . This itself is a testimonial for the dependability of low-cost and pollution.

Conclusions Maximum number of households use solar heaters and followed by solar cooker. Maximum decrease in the electricity bills is registered where solar heaters are used. There is substantial decrease in electricity bills. Good number of people (62.85%) voted for the use of solar devices.

No. of households which bought the solar devices corresponds with the year of increase in the electricity charger. That is increase in electricity charges is directly proportional to the increase in the use of solar devices.

Suggestions House registration must be done only after the installing the solar panels. House tax must be reduced for the houses which have solar panels. All house owners are to be supplied with estimations of solar panel requirement based on the size of the house.

All street lights, public buildings like schools, hospitals, government buildings should be equipped with appropriate solar panels. Village side canals are to be covered with solar panels so that solar energy is trapped at the same time evaporation is controlled. Last but not the least, the children should be given various solar devices like solar study lamps, solar diya etc in the form of gifts and prizes. In villages usage of biogas should be encouraged.
