A single adult or an older couple could use this to plan menus for a month and just buy extra food to supplement their diet. Orders Due/Distribution Day: January online order date: 1-23-11 for delivery 1-29-11 Please contact your local host site for information or visit our website to locate a host site near you: www.angelfoodministries.com Usually distribution day is the last Saturday of the month.

How it works: :

How it works: Orders and distribution are handled by church host sites. Orders are collected by the host sites during the first part of each month. These orders are then turned in to the Angel Food main office in Monroe, Georgia, on a predetermined date. Several days later, in the same month, the host site will receive the food from Angel Food's 160,000 square feet warehouse to fill the orders on Distribution Day. January online order date: 1-23-11 for delivery 1-29-11 See www.angelfoodministries.com or contact Nancy Douglas de Baca at 299-7883

Distribution Day :

Distribution Day Pre-packed boxes of food are delivered to the host site by a pre-arranged delivery mode for those far away from the Georgia warehouse. In most cases, as long as there is an empty truck headed in the direction of a community who wants this program, there are no extra transportation costs. Food is delivered to a host church where volunteers will sort boxes and distribute orders.
