Hold the cards in your left hand, with your thumb on the back print of the cards (the pictures should be facing away from you) With your RIGHT hand, take some cards from the back and ‘drop’ in front (where your thumb is) RANDOMLY. Continue until you feel ready to put the cards down. If you are left handed – swap hands. (Shown in the picture above) LESSON 8b : LESSON 8b CUTTING & SPLITTING THE CARDS When you have finished shuffling. Put the cards ‘face down’ on the table (you should NOT be able to see the pictures). With your LEFT hand, take approximately half of the cards and put beside the pile left on the table. Pick up the pile that was originally left on the table and place on top of the other pile.
