Slide 4: 4 Life is a GIFT from conception to natural death… Slide 5: 5 Living Our Vocation to Love in Truth “Love is an exclusive reality of the human heart. We were created out of love and to know love...” Christ did not come to give us more rules. Christ came into the world to change our hearts… Slide 6: 6 Living Our Vocation to Love in Truth Learning to LOVE… Only the human heart can: know love… 2. Live by love… 3. and give love generously… “Love one another... so that all may be one.” Slide 7: 7 Living Our Vocation to Love in Truth We are capable of God… The greatest dignity of the human heart is its capacity to freely choose to love… We are capable of loving… Slide 8: 8 Living Our Vocation to Love in Truth “Our families…at the heart of the civilization of love” allowing love… to conquer in our hearts Love is meant to be given… Love is meant to be received… Slide 9: 9 Living Our Vocation to Love in Truth We are made to give ourselves to another and to receive another… We become fully ourselves by our self-giving… Slide 10: 10 Living Our Vocation to Love in Truth Love has only one movement: OUTWARD Love can only do one thing: GIVE ITSELF To live by love To communicate it in such a powerful way… That it will give life. Only love creates… Slide 11: 11 Living Our Vocation to Love in Truth Love must be formed in the SCHOOL of LOVE: The FAMILY… The person as: a gift for others Discover JOY… In the giving of ONESELF Slide 12: 12 Living Our Vocation to Love in Truth the capacity to welcome … patience kindness Self-denial compassion Forgiving and being forgiven humility The ability to work toward reconciliation… Love is to be put into action… Slide 13: 13 In this way we have come to know His LOVE… …that He laid down His life for us… (1 John 3:16) Slide 14: 14 Living Our Vocation to Love in Truth Love is stronger than death… Allow LOVE to triumph over hurt… Slide 15: 15 turn it into mercy Slide 16: 16 Living Our Vocation to Love in Truth One who truly loves does not then withdraw his love, BUT LOVES all the more!!!
