Did you Know? In many neighborhoods in the United States, there is a presence of Spanish-style architecture Some of the major components of this style would be the tile roofs, stucco exteriors, and interior courtyards or patios. This influence is often referred to as “Spanish Colonial Style.”

Slide 3: 

The Spanish Colonial Revival is a movement that began in the U.S. in the early 20th century. This is most popular in states like California and Florida with strong Hispanic roots. Many homes that have a Spanish-look are referred to as “Haciendas” (meaning “estate”) Here are some common elements that are Spanish influence in many homes:
