Me My name is Sara Evelyn Martisek. I am from the small town of Hallettsville, Texas (pop. 2772). I am 22 years old. I am a senior public relations major and religion minor at Baylor University. I love to read, freelance, work out, shop, go to the beach or the lake, and spend time with the people that I love.

My goals and dreams : 

My goals and dreams I am spending my last semester of college in New York I’m currently applying to law school I’d love to work in full-time ministry someday I want to spend my life serving and helping people

Internships : 

5 Internships For the past four summers I have interned at Zephyr Baptist Encampment. Each summer I have earned a promotion. I moved from summer staffer to assistant program director to program director. I am currently the program coordinator. In January, I will begin an internship in New York City at CBS News as the press office intern.

My Childhood : 

My Childhood I was a hyper little girl; always rolling around and laughing all of the time. I wanted to be the center of attention and I loved when my mother put curlers in my hair like hers!

High School Activities : 

High School Activities I played basketball all four years of high school. Three of those four years, I played on the varsity team. Basketball was my passion in high school. I was the drum major my junior year. Our football team made it far enough into the playoffs that we put together a Christmas-themed half-time show.

High School Graduation : 

High School Graduation I graduated from Hallettsville High School in Hallettsville, Texas. Our mascot was the brahma (a type of bull). Go Brahmas!! This is me with my grandparents the day I graduated.

College: Baylor University : 

College: Baylor University I was not planning on being a Baylor Bear, but God’s plans were bigger than my own. Baylor has been life changing and life challenging. I am so proud to call this school my home.

Delta Delta Delta : 

Delta Delta Delta I pledged Tri Delta in the spring of 2007 and this has been one of my best decisions at Baylor to date! These girls have made a life-long impression on me.

DDD Cont. : 

DDD Cont. Tri Delta has allowed me to participate in All-University Sing, Steppin’ Out, intramurals, float, and many other Baylor activities. Last year, I served my sorority as their Vice President of Public Relations. I am a better sister, daughter, friend, and woman because of Tri Delta.

Baylor Religious Hour Choir : 

Baylor Religious Hour Choir This is my third year to be a member of BRH. We sing on Baylor’s campus and all over Texas. This past May, we took a two week mission trip to South Africa. These people hold me accountable and help me grow in my relationship with Christ. I love to sing and serve our Lord with this amazing group!

I’m the boss! : 

I’m the boss! During the summer, I work at Camp Zephyr in Sandia, Texas, where I serve as the Program Coordinator. It is my job to create stage design, book speakers and worship leaders, create camp schedules, and be the liaison between the executive staff and church pastors.

My Family : 

My Family My parents have been married for 25 years. I am the oldest of four girls. Emily is 21 and attends the University of Houston. Claire is 18 and a freshman at Baylor. Becca is 16 and a junior in high school.

My boyfriend and best friend : 

My boyfriend and best friend Luke and I have been dating for four years. We met at Camp Zephyr, where we both work. He is, second only to God, my best friend.
