Paragraph Structure : 

Paragraph Structure What is the topic sentence? My living room may be small, but it is tidy and well organized. What is the controlling idea? small, tidy and well organized What is the concluding sentence? Although it is a small living room, everything in my living room is in its place. Compare the topic sentence with the concluding sentence. What did you notice? The concluding sentence restates the topic sentence.

Paragraph Structure Q. Is the structure of a descriptive paragraph different from a process analysis paragraph? No. these descriptive paragraphs still follow the basic structure of a good paragraph (topic sentence, supporting sentences, concluding sentence).
