Wow, what a wonderful opportunity for the children of this community to grow up in a place that is infused with both English and Spanish! Literacy is found in the girl that helps translate recipes for her mother while preparing supper. Literacy is found in the boy that asked the server what “Carne con Chile Verde” means. …if you look closely, literacy is found everywhere.
