Literacy is found in the boy that asked the server what “Carne con Chile Verde” means. …if you look closely, literacy is found everywhere. Slide 28: “We have the tendency to give credit for literacy learning to more academic events such as being read to, writing stories, or being taught to read and write in a school setting.
