Please tell me about yourself? I am Sandeep Patoudi . I have graduated from Mumbai University with commerce last year. I have also done a practical computerized accounting course from ICA(mention full form) where I have learned abc of accounts. My major achievement has been winning a silver medal in sports in school.(this will vary from person to person) I’m very ambitious and I see myself as an accounts manager in 3-4 years time with an established firm. I am confident and very hardworking.My real strength is my attention to detail and I’m very focussed . When I commit to doing something, I make sure it gets done. Sir, what I’m looking for now is a company that would give me a good growth opportunity and a scope to work in the field of accounts. If you give me a chance, I am confident I will fit the position.

What are your weak points? Communication skill is my major weakness and I hesitate to speak in english with my peer groups. However I am working on the shortcoming by reading books and newspaper and watching english channels.

Can you tell us about your hobbies? Reading:- helps the person to acquire knowledge. Books like ‘wings of fire’, ‘you can win’ by shiv khera Listening to music:- old songs Playing games:- eg. Table tennis, cricket, hockey. Watching movies:- comedy, suspense movies.

What do you want to be in five to ten years from now in your career? I would like to start my career in Accountancy field. I would like to become an accountant within 6 months. This is my short term goal. If I talk about my long term goals, in next 5 years, I see myself as a team leader of a well known MNC handling a team of 12-15 accountants.

What is the description of your ideal job or dream job? An ideal job would be- challenging work, good pay, good team, good environment and good growth opportunity.

Why are you the ideal person for this job? Or why should I hire you? I have the required qualification and training. I am also highly motivated. However, I will make up for my lack of experience through my sheer drive and ambition. I’m willing to learn skills. I have no problem working long hours to ensure that I succeed.

Tell me about your family background? My father is a govt. servant, my mother is a house wife and I have an elder sister and a younger brother.
