Submitted By: Amit Kumar Sinha Roll No. : 2383 Branch : CSE Semester : 7 th 1 ( A Government of India Undertaking )Slide 2: Idea Behind the Concept After doing the deep study and consulting some employers working at UP Power Corporation, I came with the following assumptions and then decided to make a new system which can give the people and even government many profits :- The present working system is manual. The current website of UPPCL is totally static. People stand for long hours in a line under the sun for paying their electricity bills but still few people are not able to pay their bills because Employees working at Power Corporation office work very slowly according to themselves. Every now and then the computer systems at different locations fails due to which people faces very problems. In some areas the electricity system is very poor and people has no other option other than doing strikes. They can’t able to interact with government directly. The procedure of applications filled for New Connection or Reconnection takes much time. 2Slide 3: Objective To make the new system computerized and online. To let the people interact directly with the government. To let people to view their electricity bills online and save their time by giving an option for Online Payment. To get rid of such employees and this in turn would give much profit to the government as its employees will reduce and save of money . To make the system dynamic by storing everything in a database which can be fetched anytime needed. To process the requests for New Connection or Reconnection. 3Slide 4: Scope 4 This system is designed in a such a way that it can be used anywhere and anytime whenever needed because it is a web based application. Design to facilitate Administrator and Users. Complete and Secure Information is provided to users.Slide 5: Key Features in Proposed System 5 Registration facility for existing users. Users who want to apply for New Connection or Reconnection have to simply fill a form and within 24 hours one the employee would contact them. People can view their current electricity bill accurately by entering “no. of units” and people can also view their pending dues . Online Payment Facility will be provided to the people so that they can save their time. People who wishes to complain regarding any topic has to simply fill a form.
