Leah Henry moved to Pensacola in 2001 to attend college

There she met Joshua Shelly

They fell in love

They each had found someone to be goofy and themselves around

No matter what

They decided that once Leah finished school

They would open a new chapter in life

On Christmas Eve, 2008, Joshua Proposed

Leah and Joshua were starting to save money to have the dream wedding

Life was beautiful

Leah then found out that a condition affecting her kidneys was worse than she thought

In 2009, she was told to start making preparations for dialysis or to get a kidney transplant.

Life started to make a detour

Wedding plans were put on hold

Instead of picking out dresses, Leah was choosing what kind of dialysis to go on

July 18th, Leah received a lifesaving kidney transplant.

Leah and Joshua became closer than ever

Through many scares and stresses, Joshua and Leah stayed together

Leah was happier and healthier than ever before

Leah realized that her true love was Joshua

Leah and Joshua were more ready than ever to get married

Because of the transplant, Leah was unable to return to work

And their families had helped in every way possible with medical costs but were now unable to help contribute to their wedding

Leah and Joshua’s savings and wedding fund were depleted

But through it all their love remains stronger than ever before

No matter what, their love is special and they would like to celebrate life with a nice wedding
