Remember that all gold buyers are trying to make a profit just like anyone else, and that is fine. As long as they tell you how much they are paying you, and you consent to the amount being paid!

Silver Green An Honest price for gold would be a pay out of about 50% to 75%. Anything less is a scam, beware of people claiming to pay more than 75%. Remember, they have to have room to make a profit!

S ilver Green Watch out!!! Make sure that the person buying your gold is buying in grams not Pennyweights!! One penny weight is 1.5 grams therefore they can tell you they are paying $20 per 14k gram when in reality they are paying you closer to $13 per 14k gram!

S ilver Green Remember! The only people that pay top dollar for gold are consumers! Jewelry stores normally mark up the prices of the scrap gold several times over! EX: gold ring with $100 melt value could sell for $600 at a jewelry store!
