REACTIVE X PROACTIVE : REACTIVE X PROACTIVE Reacts Thinks And and Then then Thinks reacts PROACTIVITY : PROACTIVITY Proactive persons are masters. They control themselves and also external environment. They never run out of the options. PROACTIVITY : PROACTIVITY Stimulus and Reaction Relation : Stimulus and Reaction Relation Reactive Stimulus Reaction Immediate reaction Reacts and then thinks Proactive Stimulus Reaction Offers a buffer Thinks and then reacts Process of Thinking of Proactive Person : Process of Thinking of Proactive Person Proactive people are successful & Leaders are trained to be proactive. : Proactive people are successful & Leaders are trained to be proactive. Proactive Reactive : Proactive Reactive Do’s : Do’s Thinking must be done in options. Think in terms of options & choose the best and act. Carry your own weather. DONT’S : DONT’S Don’t do things impulsively or instinctly. Don’t influence by external circumstances. Don’t be Reactive. STAR method for selection : STAR method for selection S-Situation T-Task (challenging situation ) A-Action (Reactive or Proactive) R-Result Strength Proactive approach to any problem. Always learn to put important duty first in the start of the day. THINK WIN-WIN : THINK WIN-WIN Think that you must win and also others to win. Don’t think that others should loose. These people try to cheat others i.e. they find pleasure in other’s pain. Loose-Loose : Loose-Loose I loose you loose. These people have a motto i.e. if they loose then other’s should also loose. Never have loose-loose attitude. . Loose-Win : Loose-Win I loose you win. These people cannot fight for their goal and name them as a sacrifiers. But you can’t sacrifice unless it belongs to you. Win-Win : Win-Win I must win and you must win. This is the right attitude. Always project win-win attitude. Slide 24: Remember, companies look for the attitude you have through Group discussion & your behavior, response & reaction with your friends & interviewers. Q: What salary you are expecting? : Q: What salary you are expecting? Well sir, I always believe win-win attitude so, what I give to corporation you give me that worth. [Give a range of price but don’t give actual price] You should know your worth, because you know kind of expense, kind of education. Q. I will be proactive & understand him/her & my goal is “I win, he wins & my whole corporation wins”. SYNERGY : SYNERGY Synergy comes from exchange of ideas and interaction of knowledge. It doesn’t belong to individual. It is a new energy that comes from a group by exchanging ideas from one another. Learn to generate synergy on what you have your own. Wisdom is a synergy which comes on its own. You need a line of thinking for doing things smartly. Smile is a curve that makes lot of things straight : Smile is a curve that makes lot of things straight A smile may be worthy than the wealth you have. Learn to smile which generates lot of synergy. Those who smile eloquently will get job earlier. In an interview, selection is done on your face time also. FACE TIME : FACE TIME Face time is the time you spend seeing other faces.
