INTRODUCTION:: INTRODUCTION: Strawberryis a perinnial, stoloniferous herb belongs to the Rosaceae family. conventionally propagated runner plants MATERIALS: MATERIALS Explant : Fresh nodes from strawberry mature plants Media : MS media. Other: HgCl2, twin 20 solution , double distilled water : Nodal segments used as explants EXPLANT METHOD: METHOD 1) WASHING OF EXPLANT : Washing of explant with twin 20 Surface sterilizetion with 0.5% mercuric chloride for 5 min Rinsing 4 times with double distilled water in laminar air flow chamber. Of BA increased above 1.5mg/lit, then shoot multiplication reduced When BA supplemented with GA3 instead of kinetin, then rats of shoot proliferation and no. of shoots didn’t improve but shoot length increase.
