HERE ARE A FEW WAYS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY CAN SAVE WATER IN YOUR HOME. : HERE ARE A FEW WAYS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY CAN SAVE WATER IN YOUR HOME. HOW? 1 : 1 TAKE SHORTER SHOWERS. (4 minutes) TAKING SHORTER SHOWERS CAN SAVE UPTO 27L PER PERSON!! 2 : 2 FILL UP YOUR DISHWASHER AND WASHING MACHINE BEFORE YOU USE IT EACH OF YOUR FAMILY MEMBER COULD SAVE UP TO 5L 3 : 3 JUST TO RINSE DON’T RUN THE WATER WHILE CLEANING YOUR TEETH, JUST RUN IT TO RINSE. Not running the water while you clean you teeth could save around 12L per person 4 : 4 Check for leaks? If you find a tap dripping tell your parents so they can fix it. A leaking tap can waste 20,000 litres a year!!!! 5 : 5 Use the half flush instead of a full flush. If you use the half flush button you can save around 6-7L of water. 6 : 6 DON’T water the garden if the weatherman says it is going to rain. 7 : 7 Ask your parents to install a rain tank. Water your garden with the water from your tank, not your tap!!! Slide 13: Save water with me so you can see, what a happy place the world can be!
