WSN Architecture in Space Application :

WSN Architecture in Space Application Space station Astronaut Doctor location: physiological condition estimation, response advisory In-suit medical sensors form a 1-hop body network to the head node. In-suit head node: Performs local processing, external communication Mote transceiver: Forms a mesh wireless network interface between astronauts and doctor devices. Provides adequate connection redundancies EVA: Wireless mesh (peer-to-peer) network. Emergencies get communicated to rover and nearby crew members (inter-suit communications). Long-range connectivity through WiFi interface In-Suit Network For collaborative vital sign monitoring Suit-to-Base communications Reporting to on-board doctor devices Suit-to-Suit communications Alarming about emergencies to co-located crew during EVA
