Introduction :Introduction The introduction acquaints the reader with the topic and purpose of the paper Generates the audience’s interest in the topic Offers a plan for the ensuing argument


Introduction Components :Introduction Components Narrative Hook Usually the opening line Garners the reader’s attention and peaks interest State the Debate Introduces the argument at hand Thesis Statement


Thesis Statement :Thesis Statement The most important part of your paper The reader’s roadmap to your paper Answers the question at hand Debatable Takes a stance Complex
