Initially Rs 600 crores will be invested in infrastructure such as land filling, drinking water supply from Singanpore wier, roads, electrical supply, sewerage, storm water drainage and landscape development.
Each Puram (sector) of approx. 50 acres will require investment for construction of about Rs 250 crores.
For development of all Purams, total investment of about Rs 7,000 crores will be required.

In August, 2005, Gujarat State CRZ management Authority has cleared the project andamp; it will recommend the project to the Central Govt.
Drinking water – Permission obtained on 25/12/1994 from Gujarat Irrigation Department for 8 million gallons of water per day for the township from Singanpore wier on river Tapi.
Gujarat Maritime Board NOC obtained on 11/09/2000.
Solid waste disposal NOC obtained on 27/01/1992 from Surat Municipal Corporation.
