An interview is a face to face discussion. It is includes two types of persons. They are 1. Interviewee (system user) 2. Interviewer (system analyst) Interview

Questionnaires : 

Questionnaires are used to gather data from large number of peoples. Analyst provides set of questions to relevant peoples at the same times. Two types of questions available Free format questions Fixed format questions Questionnaires

Observation : 

Observation System analyst participates in or watches a person perform activities to learn about the system. It could be catachreses as follow Formal Observation Informal Observation

Joint Requirement Planning : 

Joint Requirement Planning Joint application design can replace a series of interviews with the user community. JRP participants are   1. Sponsor 2. Facilitator 3. Users & Manager 4. Scribes 5. IT staffs

Proto typing : 

Proto typing Projects, especially in cases where the development team is having problems defining the system requirements. It is important that the prototype be developed quickly so that it can be used during the development process.
