Everyone shares the books in our library, so it’s important to keep them organized. When a library is organized, readers can find the books they want.
Slide 3:
When you borrow a book, write the date, your first and last name, and the book’s title in the notebook.
Slide 4:
When you return a book, go back to the notebook and place a checkmark next to your entry.
Slide 5:
Every book belongs somewhere. In our classroom library, please shelf each book according to its genre. Genres include fantasy, biography, sci fi, realistic fiction, nonfiction, mystery, historical fiction, and poetry.
Slide 6:
Easier books belong on the top shelves, and the most difficult books in each genre belong on the lowest shelves.
Slide 7:
Please borrow no more than two books at once. (You might want to borrow a book to read in school and another one to read at home. )
Slide 8:
Please return the books that you borrow as soon as you’re finished.
No one can read a book that’s buried in a locker…
