Main Street, Suite 1 • Manheim, PA 17545 • (717) 664-0100 Landscape Plan and Layout Design by:Slide 4: Pre-Construction Work Klines Septic & Excavation moved a sewer line in the way of the pool. Ressler Propane installed a gas line and two propane tanks for pool heating.Construction Begins : Construction BeginsSlide 6: Stakeout was necessary before excavation began. Topsoil was removed next.Slide 7: Next, earth was excavated to level off the site to the top of the pool. Once leveled, excavation of the pool began.Slide 8: As excavation continues, boards were laid out around the outline of the pool and formed to prepare for the steel installation.Slide 9: What a ROCK! Excavation could not be completed during day one as the excavators ran into a large vein of rock.Slide 10: The vein of rock that was hit was worse than we had hoped.Slide 11: A quick financial decision had to be made to continue rock excavation a second day to accommodate a pool deep enough for a diving board.Slide 12: Once completely excavated, a stone base was spread on the bottom.Slide 13: Next, steel rods were tied together in a grid pattern for the concrete reinforcement.Slide 14: The plumbing was the next step of the process.Slide 15: The gunnite application finally made the pool take on shape. It was quite an amazing operation, especially when watching the formation of the steps. What do I see? A new skatepark? No, I think it looks like a new luxury suite pond. Oh boy!
