MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENT TESTIMONIALS   Francisco G. Grade 8 (Mexico)   “ I had a great time at Oceanside Middle School. I liked the variety of courses we took. The ESL teacher was very helpful to me. The homestay family is very clean. I liked the fact that they were an active family; we did lots together on the weekends. I enjoyed living in Parksville. I enjoyed my sports the most, especially soccer. It was very different for me to play on a team in a new community. At the school I played for the middle school team and I also played on one of the teams at Kwalikum Secondary. It was fun playing with the older boys. ”   Karen Grade 8 student from Mexico “ I have had really nice experience. People are very friendly and I have done well in school. My homestay family treats me like their own kid. We went to a lot of places and did lots of activities. This would be a good homestay for other international students. I would really like to come back some day to visit my friends, teachers and homestay parents. The community is very safe and everyone has been very friendly. This year I played golf all year. I took golf lessons and belonged to a golf course where I could play as much as I liked. I enjoyed the opportunity to play in tournaments, meet new people and accomplish my goals on improving my golf game. The golf academy was four days a week after school as well as many weekends. We worked on our fitness, diet, attended Yoga classes as well as learning the mental aspects of the game. ” MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENT TESTIMONIAL What Our Students Say….

MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENT TESTIMONIAL What Our Students Say…. Chris L. From Germany “School in Canada has been a lot of fun. There are many school and community sports. My host family is very kind to me, I love the atmosphere there and I like being treated like a full member of the family. Everything at home is perfect. They try hard to make my stay really nice and comfortable. I help out a bit but I don't have a problem with that. The community has been excellent: everyone is friendly and I have found a lot of really good friends which I do not want to lose when I have to go home. People are really great and they really care about you and are interested in learning about you. All in all, the program activities have been really good. I liked the variety of activities and trips. I really enjoyed the surfing trip to Tofino. Thanks to everyone who has helped to make this a great year.” Apittha S. from Thailand “It’s very nice to study here. I have had many good experiences while here. I have learned more English as well as learning so much about other cultures. It has been excellent. My host family has been nice to me and I feel that I’m part of the family. The community is very tranquil and everyone here is friendly. People here always smile and I feel they are always happy. I enjoyed the activities but would like even more of them."
