A complex of seven building was expected to put New York on the map. During the construction of this building 60 people died. This building is known as the Twin Towers , and was ultimately ended in tragedy on 9/11.

The fact that the Twin Towers had so many physical features it made it special. Both buildings weighted 200 , 000 tons were amazing , or the fact that they were 425 ,000 cubic yards of concrete. The south and north tower shared a total of 43 , 600 windows , and 12,000 miles of electric cables. You would think that since they both were in the same area they would have the same area code , but they had different ones instead.

The Twin Towers where destroyed by a plane that was high jacked by terrorist. These tower were attacked more then on time by terrorist. In 1993 terrorist drove a truck with 1100 lbs of explosive into the basement , which blew up the basement. When the building were hit by the airplanes they collapse with in two hours. Now its known as ground zero.

Even though there is no future for the Twin Towers , there are memories . The American people will never forget them , but will all ways remember the tears that was shed on 9/11.
