A teacher is sitting on a chair. 2. There is a computer in front of her. 3. Her hands are on the key board. 4. She is looking at the computer screen. 5. Three bars are seen in the computer. What are Prepositions? : What are Prepositions? Prepositions are words that specify place, direction, and time. A preposition links nouns, pronouns and phrases to other words in a sentence . A preposition usually indicates the temporal, spatial or logical relationship of its object to the rest of the sentence. A preposition will tell 4 things: Where something is (location) Where something is going (direction) When something happens (time) Prepositions of Place : Prepositions of Place AT : AT Slide 7: The people are at the table.
