Welcome friends We are glad to welcome on this special occasion all you beautiful people for who IYCC is what it is today. 12 months of sincere coordination has driven us so far to fulfill our common noble purpose of helping poor children, sick and old people. We have been able to extend helping hands to various Orphanages, Old age homes, Blind/deaf schools through our four zones only because of your support.

Thanking each of you for whole heartedly embracing IYCC and make it your own.   IYCC today is: An inherent part of you. Seating happily in your soul and heart. And Happy to be cuddled by your love and care.  This day is about you. For you. And By you.   Your support and contribution has given wings to this tiny initiative and that’s flying high, really high!

We spend a lot. Many 100s come in, many such 100s go out but if we can pull out one such 100 out of our monthly money traffic then just imagine!! that money can feed thousands atleast for a day a month. We simply accumulate all money online, pick up on one particular day a month, buy food, books, medicines, shoes etc. and distribute that to orphanages on one weekend of a month spending barely 1-2hrs that day. How to get across? We work on a simple plan.   If 10 people join in, we can distribute 2000 bread packs to feed 2000 hunger struck fellow mates out there. If 100 people join in, we can distribute 20,000 bread packs to feed 20,000 hunger struck fellow mates out there. Vision

Just imagine..20,000 people can be fed..! Just need to invest 1-2hrs..of one day..of one month..@100rs each. Its not a big difference but don’t think it's small even. The ultimate joy is not having what you want in life , but seeing people around you also having what they want. We have taken so much from the society to be sitting in these plush offices, don't you think it's high time to give something back to the society, if not much, but little.   Think of it guys!

IYCC-MAY-ADOPTION OF A GIRL CHILD : 

IYCC-MAY-ADOPTION OF A GIRL CHILD IYCC finally had the privilege to adopt a girl child in terms of its educational expenses .Her Name is even 'Saraswati' (Goddess of Learning in Hindu Mythology)- What a strange & sweet coincidence!! We met this little angel accidentally at a temple. Saraswati showed immense eagerness to study & go to school like other kids. Her family's financial breakdown didn’t allow her schooling. So with the little money IYCC could help with, She has now got admission in a nearby school & has also been provided with uniforms, notebooks, schoolbag, pencil box, tiffin box & an alarm clock. Thank you each one of you for making this happen & giving us such a high that moved us like anything!!

IYCC-EAST-JUNE-2011-B’DAY OF A MEMBER’S DAUGHTER : 

IYCC-EAST-JUNE-2011-B’DAY OF A MEMBER’S DAUGHTER One of our IYCC mates along with other members went ahead in celebrating his daughter's birthday at an orphanage in East Zone. Its JeevanJyoti Anatha Ashram, where there had been couple of IYCC activities in the past. Birthday Cake was cut with pomp & show along with some celebration with all children around. Around 80 bed-sheets were distributed, lunch was arranged for all, shoes & socks were also given. Around 10-15 IYCC members took out time for the event from their active professional schedule & spent the whole day with children. Their experience & overall interaction was amazing to say the least.

IYCC-SOUTH-JUNE-2011-HIV+ CHILDREN’S HOME @ CHENNAI : 

IYCC-SOUTH-JUNE-2011-HIV+ CHILDREN’S HOME @ CHENNAI IYCC Visited an orphanage 'Shelter Homes' that shelters HIV+ children which is situated on the outskirts of Chennai. There were around 38 little buds who were as happy & chirpy as other children of their age without ever having to worry about any criticalities in life. All of them are under medical supervision, the orphanage ensures that they are being completely cared, not get injured or fall sick. Every month they are given prescribed injection only in government hospitals and it is recorded for national statistics. One girl is in 2nd level of medication and under supervision of National AIDS Control Board and she is immobile as of now. They cannot eat normal diet as all others do, they have strict prescribed diet from doctors.

We spent some time with children and relished their excitement when they were playing with their toys or while watching a high adrenaline tamil movie on TV. We understood their various needs but only could support with some groceries worth 3450 INR.

IYCC-EAST-JULY-2011-OLD AGE HOME,ORPHANAGE IYCC-EAST visited Jeevan Dhara Sevashram located at Khordha Dist. of Odisha on 24th July .IYCC members interacted with the old men & women along with the staff of the old age home to understand their problems and requirements for which we are planning to extend our help in near future. IYCC arranged their lunch for the day from the famous Lingaraj temple of Bhubaneswar. IYCC also provided food, soaps, chocolates and other required things for one month to a newly opened orphanage located at khordha. IYCC is also looking forward for more and more people to join us for the noble cause. Anybody interested are requested to join us or contact us regarding any queries.

IYCC-SOUTH-JULY-2011-ORPHANAGE IYCC-SOUTH visited Jeroham Childrens Home on July. There were 26 children, 14 boys, 12 girls, all under 14.A wall mounted fan was given as per their requirement and also chocolates, biscuits were distributed. We spent some time there, understanding what are their needs, This orphanage is also supported by Tamil Actor Vijay.

IYCC-WEST-JULY-2011-TEACH FOR INDIA This is at a small school in Pune wherein members of 'Teach for India' give their valuable inputs to make teaching enjoyable and interactive like never before. IYCC could only contribute books, notebooks, accessories and chocolates. But the best part is.. The lovely buds put in hell lot of effort to show their appreciation & acknowledgement of IYCC's little contribution..The feeling is like never before..We feel genuinely loved & cared..Thank You!! A special thanks to Chandrasekhar Bhuyan who is currently a 'Teach for India' member. Previously he was with Infy before leaving his lucrative career for something he truly felt for...thanks!!

They visited The war memorial and learned a lot about NAVY, AIR force etc. Zoo visit will definitely help them understand that their bigger horizon is encircling them and there are opportunities beyond class rooms and mundane life.

IYCC-EAST-NOVEMBER-2011 On the eve of completion of 1 year ,IYCC-EAST attended the annual function of Jeevan Jyoti Anatha Asram in Bhubaneswar where the children of 11 orphanages gathered for various competitions like drawing, quiz, music chair, dance, essay competition etc to encourage young talents.... IYCC presented trophies to successful children..We also donated geometry box and some cash for their launch.
