HOW WE GOT HERE… :

HOW WE GOT HERE… My mom’s family came over from Europe and settled in the colonies and branched out and has stayed in the North Carolina area. My grandpa and grandma on my mom’s side moved to California while he was in the service and started their family. My family on my dad’s side is split between Oklahoma and Japan. His mom’s family has lived strictly Japan, whereas his dad came over from France and settled in Arkansas for a little bit. They made their trip to Oklahoma and that is where they have resided for several generations. My grandpa on this side joined the Navy and was stationed in Japan during the ‘50s. While he was there he met my grandma and married her on the spot. They moved to California together and started their family.

FAMILY HEALTH HISTORY :

FAMILY HEALTH HISTORY Overall my family has been relatively healthy considering our size, but there have definitely been some concerns. Diabetes is common within my family seeing as how grandparents on both sides have it and now my dad as well. My mom’s dad has asthma and I do too, but we are the only ones on either sides that have breathing problems. Hypertension and arthritis is also very common. Most member of our families live long happy lives.

ALKALINE TRIO“IF YOU HAD A BAD TIME” :

ALKALINE TRIO“IF YOU HAD A BAD TIME” If you had a bad timeAt one of my partiesWell I wouldn't expect to be seeing you soon and that's fineYou have to know what and whyThose things make you happyYou have to know that a second guess ain't worth the tryJust some words of adviceMaybe you've heard them before but here goesJust be true to yourself if it lands you in hell, well, at least now you knowLoud and clear is your heart big and bright are the places you might someday goWith one million things holding you down, why you're one of those thingsI don't know, no big deal gotta goIf you're up to your earsIn blood, sweat and wasted yearsI'm hoping you're going to open your throatAnd just scream *The song only plays on this slide*

SONG CONTINUED :

SONG CONTINUED You have to know who and whyWhich ones miss you when you dieYou have to know that a second guess ain't worth the salt in your eyesJust some words of adviceMaybe you've heard them before but here goesJust be true to yourself if it lands you in hell, well, at least now you knowLoud and clear is your heart big and bright are the places you might someday goWith one million things holding you down, why you're one of those thingsNo big dealIt just sits on my shoulders you're breaking my neckWe get crazy with age now you're under my bedAnd it's dark all the time, all the timeJust some words of adviceMaybe you've heard them before but here goesJust be true to yourself if it lands you in hell, well, at least now you knowLoud and clear is your heart big and bright are the places you might someday goWith one million things holding you down, why you're one of those thingsI don't know, no big deal here I go.

WHY I CHOSE THIS SONG :

WHY I CHOSE THIS SONG This song comes from my favorite band and it really does represent me in a strange way. I find that I remind myself to just let go of things and move on in life. This song tells you to grow up and not get stuck in the past. I’ve gone through so much and sometimes I can’t get past the problems I’ve faced. I had trouble dealing with the stress, but this song tells you just let it out and scream, which is exactly what you need to do sometimes. With this song it represents a struggle, but inevitably success, which is how I view myself.

MY BROTHER :

MY BROTHER My parents both know how important they are to me, but I’m not a hundred percent sure my brother does. He’s an amazing person and I love him dearly. We have gotten into our fair share of fights throughout our lives, but he’s taught me quite a bit. He got into a lot of trouble over the years and many people thought he wouldn’t get his stuff together, but he surprised everyone. He became a well respected man with a job, a fiancé, and a baby on the way. He has been a major support system to myself and someone I consider to be one of my best friends. He has been strong for me and taken care of me if anything has gone badly. He’s not perfect and neither am I, but I definitely think we are the perfect brother sister combination.

Dear Kyle, :

Dear Kyle, You are an amazing brother who I know I can trust and love my whole life. We have been through hell and back, but one thing Partains do better than anyone else is stick together. We have fought just like any other brother sister pair, but we are always able to get back to where we need to be. You’re an unbelievably important person in my life and I thank you for all the support you have given me in my life. Love, Sammy

WHERE I SEE MYSELF IN… :

WHERE I SEE MYSELF IN… THREE YEARS- I see myself about to end my junior year in college and starting my piercing internship, going through life one day at a time FIVE YEARS- I see myself done with college as well as my internship. I will be beginning my life as a professional piercer and hopefully have someone to share my success with TEN YEARS- I see myself owning a piercing and tattoo studio down in Pacific Beach starting my family and enjoying life

IF COULD ACCOMPLISH… :

IF COULD ACCOMPLISH… If I could accomplish just one thing it would have to be that my dreams comes true with being able to support my family when the time comes. I never want my family to feel like they are missing out on life because money is short. Being able to take care of them both emotionally and financially would be the ultimate goal.

MEDIA AWARENESS :

MEDIA AWARENESS

MEDIA AWARENESS :

MEDIA AWARENESS The media affects everything around us unfortunately. It has mass amounts of influence on the youth today. There are kids of all ages today that find themselves too ‘big’ and not thin enough. It’s awful how tabloids and TV shows all glamorize these barely there stars, with their bones practically poking out of their skin. The media doesn’t affect my decisions in clothing, activities, or music. I tend to just wear what I find looks good on me and I do what makes me happy. As for music I may hear something on TV and check them out randomly, but overall I get bands from friends or from bands I see at concerts. Media is all around us and it is unavoidable unless you’re cut off from the mainstream world. It’s your decision to choose how you live your life and what you do during it, but we have to get away from the growing population of impressionable teens.
