WOLF FAMILY WOLVES ARE MONOGAMOUS , WITH MATED PAIRS USUALLY REMAINING TOGETHER FOR THE LIFE TIME

Apresentação do PowerPoint:

The second rank in the social order of a wolf pack. Dominate over all pack members except Alpha pair . In absence of Alpha pair, Beta wolves have the authority to regulate rules and deal with intruding wolves and rogues. If both Alpha’s die, the Beta pair become the new Alpha. There is one Beta Male and one Beta Female . The oldest wolves, they have seen many things and are the teachers of the pack, they have much to offer and teach, they may be older but they are not to be messed with and are highly respected by the pack. There is an elder of almost every field and they are just as important as any Psi wolf, they are usually the teachers that teach the Psi wolves how to be a good leader. The leaders of the pack, one male and one female. They 'own' the territory, and with the assistance of their Beta's and Zeta's, protect their land. They carry out most of the big decisions, and can promote or relegate any wolf to any level of their pack. Alphas will always have final say in everything, and are obeyed by all members of the pack at all times. They create rules and boundaries for the pack and decide on ranking, courting, breeding and accepting and/or rejecting new wolves. They also can banish a wolf from the pack if they feel it necessary. Occasionally, Alphas may call f ormal group hunts along with the Delta wolves. There may only be one Alpha Male and one Alpha Female.   ELITE STATUS Alpha Wolves Beta Wolves Elders

Head wolves. These are intelligent, experienced wolves in their field. There is a Psi Zeta, Psi Delta and Psi Sigma - that is, Head Warrior , Head Hunter , Head Scout. They have shown great comprehension of their field, and are treated as masters of it ; a greatly respected wolf by any rights . Only the Alphas or a joined and approved decision from the council can promote a wolf to this position ; it is one of honor , and not chosen by t he wolf itself . Obviously, only three Psi Wolves.  Possible future Alpha, they are being given a chance to prove themselves as a leader of the pack. They are under constant observation and must learn fast. They are given tasks to do as the Betas and Alphas see fit. They are guardians and teachers while being students as well. SUPERIOR STATUS Possible future Beta, they are being given a chance to prove themselves as a leader of the pack. They are under constant observation and must learn fast. They are given tasks to do as the Betas and Alphas see fit. Lead hunters of the pack. The Delta wolf’s role in the pack is to assist the Beta in making sure the rules are followed and that the pack acts as a family. They make sure that the pack m embers keep themselves out of trouble and that no fights break out between visiting wolves or other pack members by warning them of the rules. They are the main or lead hunters in a pack, and often have a great deal of experience with a variety of hunts. Delta wolves can act as law-enforcers, and are extremely experienced in hunting a wide variety of hunts...they also train up the Delta Epsilons. There may be only four Delta wolves. Like the shaman (therapist) of the pack, this member can heal almost any injury or illness with the right tools and herbs. Greatly looked up to by most members of the pack, pups especially, they are invaluable, especially after large territorial battles or fights for dominance that leave wolves injured. Often they take on young, intelligent wolves as an Epsilon, or apprentice . There may only be one Kappa.  Usually a she-wolf, the Upsilon rank describes the pack's main pup-sitter. There may well be more than one wolf of this rank, but it is usually filled by mothers, or older wolves that have lost their ability to hunt or track. A well-respected wolf, the Upsilon wolf often has a patient, calming personality, and is often invaluable to the pack. There may be up to 3 Upsilon wolves.  The scouts of the pack. Often wolves that aren't the best hunters are excellent trackers. Sigma and Delta wolves can work together when tracking prey over a period of time. Often , these scouts travel far and wide searching for food and new hunting territory. They are often positioned near the territory borders, and are one of the first to spot new wolves or intruders. Fast and agile, these wolves are often fairly young and have a great deal of energy, though lacking in physical strength. There may be up to four Sigma wolves .  The Zeta wolves act as guards or sentinels of the pack. Strong and large they are a force to be reckoned with, and the Zeta wolves are what give the pack their fearsome reputation. The Zeta wolves are very intelligent, and are great fighters. They need to be in order to defend their territory. Delta, Sigma and Zeta wolves are invaluable to the Alphas, and it is an honor for a wolf to become one of these ranks. There may be up to four Zeta wolves SUPERIOR STATUS Sigma Wolves Zeta Wolves Kappa Wolves U psilon Wolves

These are young wolves that show a great deal of promise. Either strong or fast , these wolves have a fierce desire to protect and fight for their pack, and so are trained up by the Zeta wolves or occasionally the Alpha wolves until they are considered strong enough to be a full-fledged Zeta . Their training can begin as early as they are weaned , if the parents or Alpha permits it , and may last their whole life – some wolves are never quite strong enough to make the cut. There may be any number of Epsilons.  The potential scouts of the pack. Often wolves that aren't the best hunters but, are excellent trackers. Sigma and Delta wolves can work together when tracking prey over a period of time. Often, these scouts travel far and wide searching for food and new hunting territory. They are often positioned near the territory borders, and are one of the first to spot new wolves or intruders. Fast and agile, these wolves are often fairly young and have a great deal of energy, though lacking in physical strength. There may be up to 2 Sigma Epsilon wolves.  Similar to a Delta Epsilon, except a Kappa Epsilon learns the way of health, rather than battle. Often younger wolves selected by the pack's Kappa or Healer to learn their ways, they have to be focused on their task in order to succeed and be a Healer. There may only be one Kappa Epsilon.  Usually a she-wolf, the Upsilon rank describes a wolf that has potential to be a good pup sitter. There may well be more than one wolf of this rank, but it is usually filled by mothers, or older wolves that have lost their ability to hunt or track. A well-respected wolf, the Upsilon wolf often has a patient, calming personality, and is often invaluable to the pack. Considered pack members , but generally the pack treats them with a bit more respect. There may be up to 3 Upsilon Epsilon wolves.  Delta Epsilons are young, strong, fast, healthy wolves that have a loyalty to the pack, and wish to protect it by becoming a Delta. Ranked above pack members , they learn the ways of the hunt in more detail, as well as leadership skills taught to them often by other Deltas. Considered pack members , but generally the pack treats them with a bit more respect. There may only be three Delta Epsilons.  HIGHER STATUS U psilon Epsilons Delta Epsilons Zeta Epsilons Sigma Epsilons Kappa Epsilons

Apresentação do PowerPoint:

The rank all wolves are given whom just joined the pack. They are of this rank and are "under assessment" by the Alphas of the pack. It is during this time a more suitable rank within the pack hierarchy could be selected for them, or, if they are seen as troublemakers, they will be chased away from the pack. Any number of Tau wolves, though the period a wolf will remain in this rank is not long...  One of the lowest ranking members of the pack, though its usually only the Alpha s who produce cubs - however any other wolf may, with their Alpha's permission. Pups are adored by the pack and despite their low rank have many social freedoms as they learn the ways of the pack. All pups are considered equal regardless of the parent’s ranks and are treated equally. Once a pup turns a year old, or makes a large kill by themselves, they are no longer pups and are considered adult wolves, and pack members . Too young to hunt or fend for themselves, they bring joy to all members of the pack, as they learn and fit into their natural hierarchy. No more than six in a litter, but any number of cubs. Pups born to the Alpha wolves may not necessarily succeed their parents - meaning any pup (or wolf) could theoretically become the new Alpha. Once a pup(s) is born, they are role-played by the parent(s). If after a week no other one is chosen to role-play that pup, they will die. MIDDLE STATUS Pups / Cubs Tau Wolves

Apresentação do PowerPoint:

Omega is the lowest possible position in the pack. They eat last at every kill, and are subservient to all other members of the pack. Often the wolf in this position is in bad favor with the Alphas, though they can be promoted based on the Alphas’ choice. The Omega is the lowest ranking wolf in the pack. They are the last to eat and often sleep separate from the pack. Being singled out for torment isn't unusual and most of the time the higher ranks will allow it. Sometimes they are put in charge of watching the pups if the Alphas deem them trustworthy enough. Omegas are always one step away from banishment and must work hard to prove themselves to the Alphas in hopes that they will remove the rank of Omega. Submissive to all except pups . There may only be ONE Omega wolf.  LOW STATUS Omega Wolf

Apresentação do PowerPoint:

Rogues are wolves that have been exiled and banished from their pack for some significant reason or choose not to be in a pack. Rogues can hunt small hunts, but for the most part are scavengers. Rogues claim no territory of their own, having to wander between territories to keep from the packs whereabouts. Rogues can choose to join a pack in which they will be ranked a Tau wolf. ROGUE

Apresentação do PowerPoint:

Canines are a different species other than wolves like Foxes, Coyotes, Dogs and Hybrids. They are all accepted and encouraged. Canine s still can be accepted into packs, however their rank will be listed differently. In special cases the rule may be passed aside, but for the time being they will be considered non- pack allies or enemies. CANINE

Apresentação do PowerPoint:

The first 3 are the old or sick, they give the pace to entire pack so they aren't left behind . Then come 5 strongest, in the front line and 5 strongest in the back line. In the middle the rest of the pack. In the last position, alone, is the Alpha, from there he can see everything and control direction. The pack moves according to the elders pace, helping and watching each other. WOLFPACK
