Annunciation to the Blessed Virgin Mary is the Christian celebration of the announcement by the angel Gabriel to Virgin Mary, that she would conceive and become the mother of Jesus the Son of God. The Annunciation has been a key topic in Christian art in general, as well as in Roman Catholic Marian art, particularly during the Middle Ages and Renaissance. Comments Posting comment... Certainly the small panel is unusually perfect, particularly the wings of the angel, but documented evidence strongly suggests this predella is part of an altarpiece painted for the Cathedral of Pistoia, recorded as being a Verrocchio and executed by Lorenzo di Credi. Paintings by Leonardo are frequently attributed to Credi and vise versa as the two were studying with Verrocchio at the same time.PowerPoint Presentation: Leonardo da Vinci (1452 – 1519) Annunciation (Lorenzo di Credi ???? ) Musée du Louvre Paris Leonardo da Vinci (1452 – 1519) Disegno al Gabinetto dei Disegni e delle Stampe degli Uffizi Head of a WomanPowerPoint Presentation: Leonardo da Vinci (1452 – 1519) pen and ink drawing ca. 1479 Windsor Castle Duccio di Buoninsegna (c. 1255-1260 – c. 1318-1319) L'Annunciazione, 43 x 44 cm., National Gallery di LondraPowerPoint Presentation: Francesco Botticini.(1446-1497) L'Annunciazione, Museo della Collegiata of Sant'Andrea Empoli,PowerPoint Presentation: Cima da Conegliano (c. 1459 – c. 1517) Annunciazione, Hermitage Museum, St. PetersburgPowerPoint Presentation: Jacopo del Sellaio (Florence, c.1477/8-1530) Private collectionPowerPoint Presentation: Domenico Beccafumi (1486-1551) Annunciation 1545 Saints Martino and Vittorio, SarteanoPowerPoint Presentation: Vittore Carpaccio Annunciation 1504 Ca'd'Oro, VenicePowerPoint Presentation: Vittore Carpaccio Annunciation 1504 Ca'd'Oro, VenicePowerPoint Presentation: Agnolo di Cosimo detto Bronzino (1503 - 1572) Annunciation to Mary The Annunciation has been a key topic in Christian art in general, as well as in Roman Catholic Marian art, particularly during the Middle Ages and Renaissance.PowerPoint Presentation: Giorgio Vasari (1511 - 1574) The annunciation Musée du Louvre ParisPowerPoint Presentation: Jeronimo Lucenti de Coreggio Annunciation 1615 State Hermitage Museum, Saint PetersburgPowerPoint Presentation: Jose Claudio Antolinez (1635 – 1675) Annunciation Hermitage Museum Saint PetersburgPowerPoint Presentation: Kovacs Tibor(b.1959) Annunciation Private collection BudapestPowerPoint Presentation: Pictures: Internet Copyright: All the images belong to their authors Arangement : Sanda Foişoreanu www.slideshare.net/michaelasanda S ound: Ave Maria - Josipa Lisac & Croatian Radio and Television Symphony orchestra and Choir You do not have the permission to view this presentation.
