Introduction: : 

Introduction: Sexual Harassment affects all women in some form or the other. Lewd remarks, touching, wolf-whistles, staring looks are part of any woman’s life, so much so that it is dismissed as normal. Sexual harassment is the expression of male power over women that sustain patriarchal relations in our male dominant society.

Introduction: Sexual harassment is also a form of human rights violation, and is an infringement on their life and liberty as defined in the Constitution of India. Studies have found out that sexual harassment is still endemic, often hidden, and present in all kinds of institutions, organizations, government departments and private and corporate sector.

Legal Definition: : 

Legal Definition: Sexual harassment includes such unwelcome sexually determined behaviour, as physical contacts and advances, sexually coloured remarks, showing pornography and sexual demands whether by words, gestures or actions.
