Something about us .. Everything is real , except the flying .. All flightsimulators are supported Flying at VATSIM and IVAO World Caribbean Gateway

One of the few procedures Your flight !! How it works as a WCG pilot . In our timetable you can find where all aircraft are, where you can fly to and what callsign to use . Book your flight via VATSIM or Vroute and via our Pirep system to avoid that another pilot takes your aircraft . Look for proper charts and create a correct route. (check also ICAO4444 document. Have a nice flight captain. After your landing, book your flight as soon as possible via our Pirep system

WCG stands for World Caribbean Gateway. We are founded on January first 2006 because the founder could not find any virtual airliner flying as it used to be done in the real world . This means flying from A to B means this flight always will have the same callsign . You can’t fly from A to B if your desired aircraft is not on the airport of A

An example of a short flight from Bonaire to Maiquetía Take your browser and go to http://www.worldcaribbean.net/wcg/pirep/index.html Check if there is any aircraft available at Bonaire; write down the registration (e.g. PJBXD) Choose your destination . In this case SVMI and write down the callsign to be used . Take your browser again and go to Routefinder at http://rfinder.asalink.net/free/ An alternative might be Vroute . Departure TNCB, Destination SVMI, en route altitude between FL210 and FL250 as long as it is an odd level, as you are heading east . It has no use to take a higher altitude but if you like to fly higher , remember you will use too much fuel and the company pays !! Activate SIDS and STARs and if you are RNAV equipped , activate RNAV too . Click on “ Find Route”. The result is : TNCB DCT AVELO UA315 MARES SVMI Leave both airports out of it and you will have a correct route: DCT AVELO UA315 MARES This route might not be the best one but it is correct. Never use the route generated by the flightplanner of the flightsimulator !!

There are no airways listed and it does not take account of one way airways and altitudes . There is a freeware package available called vasFMC : http://www.vas-project.org/topic/vasfmc/ Copy and past this route into Squawkbox or FSINN. Create the route in vasFMC or any other Flight Management Computer or use FSNavigator . Payware but v ery strong recommended specially for beginners. Even after 10 years I still use it !! It is recommended to use these remarks : CALL/WORLDCARIBBEAN DOF/ 110519 RVR/200 REG/ PJBDY ORG/TNCB OPR/WCG P/ 170 RMK/WWW.WORLDCARIBBEAN.NET E/ 0300 If you don’t understand these remarks , please check the download section of WCG and download the relevant documentation . The information written in red is depending on the date of your flight , what aircraft is used , how many passengers you have on board and for how many hours of fuel you have in your tanks. Prepare your aircraft offline. It has no use to be online preparing your flight for let’s say half an hour . Go online when everything is ready , having the relevant charts in front of you . File your flightplan and read the ATIS of ATC and contact him .

Now start your descend with a normal vertical speed. If you descend too slowly , the controller will soon tell you to expedite your descend .
