Slide 3: Right now, most African Woman don't have the luxury of being able to develop as they would wish. Slide 4: Right from childhood, even before puberty, thousand of young women are mutiled against their will. Slide 5: It has been established that this mutilation is not a religious obligation, but a practice based purely on tradition. Slide 6: Clitoral ablation is symbolic and its sole purpose is to deny women Slide 7: their right to sexual pleasure and confine them to a role as wife and chaste mother. Slide 8: Every day, 6000 girls have a clitoral ablation. Slide 9: 2 200 000 every year 130 000 000 in the world Slide 10: the Age is between 2 months and .....12 years old Slide 11: Female Genitale Mutilation not only destroys the chance for pleasure by removing the clitoris Slide 12: but also contributes to a life of pain and suffering as a result of infections and complications. Slide 13: CLITORAID now offers hope to all a Women. Slide 14: who have been victims of Female Genitale Mutilation.
