In 1998 Slide 4: Young and Hopeful Slide 5: Church planters Church planters Slide 6: Among the BaTonga People Slide 7: Sharing Jesus Slide 8: Baptizing New Believers Slide 9: And Teaching… Slide 10: Starting Churches as Believers come together Slide 11: Blessed are those Slide 12: who have Ears to Hear Slide 13: But So many disappointments Took a second wife Went back to drinking Took son to witchdoctor for healing Desired riches; turned to a life of crime. Slide 14: many do not want To give up their old ways “Have a form of godliness but denying its power.” 2 Tim. 3:5 Slide 15: Witchcraft Many who say they are Christians still seek help from the witchdoctor. Slide 16: part of the Tonga Culture. Polygamy… Slide 17: Alcoholism “Be not drunk with wine, but be filled with the Spirit!” Slide 18: Sexual immorality “Let there not be any hint of sexual immorality among you.” Slide 19: So many dying 1 out of 6 are HIV positive.
