Iamb, trochee, anapest, dactyl, spondee…
Line
The number of feet in a poetic line
Unlike a sentence that is determined by a subject, verb, and punctuation.
Monometer, dimeter, trimeter, tetrameter…
Stanza
Formed by a grouping of lines.
A line, couplet, tercet, quatrain, quintain…
Rhyme Scheme:Rhyme Scheme Establish each rhyme ending with a letter of the alphabet starting with the letter ‘A’
This helps you see a pattern in the rhyme scheme.
