Services Provided : Services Provided Daily Nutrition Program Special Needs Programs Movies in the Park Play School Teen Activities Concerts in the Park Funding : Funding It’s a Rancho Cucamonga community foundation which is a non-profit 501 public benefit corporation. Established April 1987 Contributions from volunteers and people from the community. I enhance the quality of life in our community… One person can make a difference ! : I enhance the quality of life in our community… One person can make a difference ! These Good Times will remain in our memories for years to come. Knowing this makes me feel good : These Good Times will remain in our memories for years to come. Knowing this makes me feel good Slide 7: And the winner is……….Everyone!!!!!!!! My Experience : My Experience The experience was good, but a little un organized. If I was in charge I would have had a better planed out idea of what was going to happened and what time it was going to happen. What I learned : What I learned The city provides a lot of services There are many friendly people out there willing to help others without anything in return. The community center helps out more people than I thought and has more classes for a larger amount of people. Impact : Impact Yes, I feel like my actions did have a positive impact because I helped set up a prom that was very important to the people attending the prom itself. Interview Questions : Interview Questions Funding “Through the community” How and why was the community started? “To insure the city will continue to grow and increase the quality of life.” Interview : Interview Why do you work here? “It’s a good way to be able to support my community.” Why is this organization important? “It provides activities for every age groups and benefits every one.” Critical Thinking : Critical Thinking 1) I didn’t realize that there were so many young kids with disabilities and I don’t think that there are enough groups and programs for the kids who are disabled. 2) I would give myself an A because I had 1 person come up and thank me for decorating the room for the prom, so it impacted 1 persons life and that is what is important.
