mexico The green-white-red tricolor was officially established in 1821. Green is for independence, white for Roman Catholicism, and red for union. Official name: Estados Unidos Mexicanos (United Mexican States ). The emblem : an eagle with a snake in its beak standing upon a cactus growing out of rocks in the water. Mexico is a country located in North America and the country language is Spanish.

REASON FOR CELEBRATION:

REASON FOR CELEBRATION Christmas in Mexico is celebrated annually on the 25th of December, as in many other parts of the world. Mexican Christmas traditions are not influenced by the American way. Rather they are homegrown and based mainly on Mexico's form of Roman Catholicism. Popular cultural traditions in Mexico, called " posadas ”. Mexican Christmas celebrations begin on December 12, with the birthday of "La Guadalupana " (Virgin of Guadalupe), and end on January 6, with the Epiphany.

Reason for celebration:

To remember that Mary and Joseph since leaving Nazarey to Bethlehem where they a place to stay to await the birth of baby Jesus. Reason for celebration
