Our Moa Adventures. We decided to write our own adventure stories using our stuffed Moa and ourselves as characters. We made sure our stories had a beginning, an exciting middle and, an end. Here are the stories written by 5 of our budding, young ,fiction writers . Stevie. Ngahuia. Xavier. Taare. Quinn

... moa. “Aaaah!” I held the beak. I couldn’t hold the beak. I was falling. I couldn’t hold on for long, it was hard. I ran to the house and I went under the bed. I pecked out, the moa wasn’t there. Page 2

I tip-toed down the stairs. I heard this noise. Stomp, stomp, “uuuuuui” It said. I went back to my bed. The moa crashed the door open. Crash, crash, crash!!!
