COOK’S SCIENCE LAB Magnetism WebQuestThe Purpose of the Research Project: The Purpose of the Research Project The purpose of the Magnetism Webquest Project was to guide students through the process of researching and experimenting with magnetism. Using the Scientific Method, each student team proposed a question about the magnetic characteristics of objects, made an hypothesis and tested their predictions through experimentation. The students presented their finding by creating brochures and flyers.
