How to MOBILIZE a small group : 

How to MOBILIZE a small group Motivate them to serve as a group Organize them into a team Begin a ministry project together Implement the ministry project Learn to solve problems together Inspire the group to finish the project Zero-in on holistic team development End with a celebration

Motivating the Group to Serve as a Group : 

Motivating the Group to Serve as a Group Advantages The group has already developed its relational base. It can now focus on task orientation. The group can move to the next level of “groupness” – being a team – and it will give the group a fresh challenge. Challenges Members may have their own ministries already. Members may not want to work with the group as a team. Members may become less committed because of “friendliness”. Risk of disintegration may be high because closeness.

How to organize a Team : 

How to organize a Team Agree on… The reasons for becoming a team. What it means to be a team. The issue of team empowerment. Your vision frame as a team. Ground rules. Roles and task assignments. Schedules and frequency of meetings.

Implementing the Ministry Project Meet regularly. Communicate in between meetings. Agree on task assignments after each meeting. Report to the team, not the leader. Follow the plan.
