Earth Day Activity This year on Earth Day we are going to make tin can herb pots! We can watch them grow all summer. We will be creating new life And recycling! Click on the picture to get instructions to make your own tin pot quit

Make Our School Green Recycle Energy efficient bulbs Plant trees and flowers outside Organic food in the cafeteria Unplug electronics when not in use Walk to school if you can Pack a waste-free lunch (no paper bags or plastic) Solar Panels for energy Proper Installation to conserve heat in the winter quit

Earth Hour : 

Earth Hour On March 27th for 1 hour across the world people turned off their lights and unplugged their electronics. The lights at the State Capital and Governor's Residence were also turned off. quit

Organic Food : 

Organic Food No chemicals, pesticides or hormones in your food! Tastes Better! Environmentally friendly to the earth when farmers grow organically. Increases biodiversity which brings back insects and birds that have left because of factories! quit

Don’t Forget! : 

Don’t Forget! Buy Organic Support your local farmers by buying fruits and vegetables at a farmers market Conserve energy by unplugging appliances when not in use Recycle Use re-useable bags instead of paper or plastic….everyone little thing can make a difference quit
