I did research on Interfacial Phenomena and Petroleum Recovery, and finished my Thesis Dissertation on 2000 It was called “Formulation of pH-sensitive water-oil-surfactant systems with carboxylic acids”

Conferences From 1998 to 2004 I attended an International Conference organized by Chemical engineering students They take turns to host the event, and meet in different countries every year It was an excellent opportunity to meet new people, keep up with the latest information and get to know new places

Reading I like reading in English I prefer Science Fiction, History, Fantasy, Travel and Science books Magazines: about movies, travelling and science, and MAD magazine

Music I love music and have a huge CD collection It ranges from classical to indie pop I like 80´s music I also like going to concerts; check the web for updates

Movies : 

Movies I am a big Star Wars fan (GEEK!) I also read movie magazines and try to keep track of productions and new movies I enjoy independent productions and foreign language movies (i.e., not in English)

Cooking : 

Cooking I like cooking; I think it’s relaxing I try to learn recipes when I visit new places My specialities include italian, indonesian, chinese, greek, japanese, vegetarian,… Not really a sweets person

My Family : 

My Family I am the eldest of three brothers One lives in Spain, and has a son, Santiago

The youngest one lives in Venezuela. He and his wife had triplets, so they have their hands full!

My parents are retired, both of them worked as professors at the University So did most of my aunts and uncles Since they have loads of free time, they travel a lot.

They usually spend three months in Venezuela, two or three in Spain, three or four in Venezuela, then two in Chile. Then they start over. So, we travel a lot together. We went to Greece and Germany last summer. And are planning to spend Christmas in Malta.

Cats : 

Cats I have two cats, Sebastian and Sophia
