The amount of tournaments and events that players can participate in grows on a daily basis. Local Area Network (LAN) events, Barcrafts (events where people meet at local bars and restaurants to watch gaming competitions), and online events grow in popularity with each passing moment. Even a small tournament hosted by RH Gaming can garner 1000+ concurrent viewers. LAN events, such as the Major League Gaming (MLG), award prize pools of over $500,000 through the course of their yearly season and regularly achieve 100,000+ concurrent viewers. Introduction The world of competitive online and offline gaming ( eSports ) has changed greatly over recent years and has grown to rival the viewership of average television programs with a vast, highly expansive and loyal following. By sponsoring our organization you will be providing one of the most professional, rapidly growing, and stable competitive team/communities with the tools needed to compete in the increasingly challenging field of eSports . Much like the teams and individuals of modern sports, such as NASCAR and UFC, professional gaming teams require sponsorships in order to acquire the funding necessary to operate effectively. RH began as a Starcraft : Broodwar team in 2003. Leaders of the team were motivated by the vision to create a place where anyone could easily interact, improve, and most of all, enjoy the game. With the persistent determination and support of its members, the Broodwar team grew rapidly and prospered for several years. Our Timeline The high levels of activity gave the leadership an opportunity to go beyond the scope of a casual team to that of a professional community with an increased level of competitive play. With a new focus, a decision was made to expand the reach of RH Gaming with the release of Blizzard’s sequel to Starcraft : Broodwar , Starcraft II: The Wings of Liberty in 2010. An ambitious web developer joined our team in 2011 and helped to create our new community page. We currently have over 2,000 registered members and are continuing to grow daily. To prepare for future development, a professional marketer was brought in as our general manager. Following this, a very organized upper/lower management structure was put in place. RH is furthering the development of a professional Starcraft II competitive team and is gearing up for its expansion into Diablo 3.

Professional gaming teams attract fans and followers just as any entity expressing great talent would, but there’s something special about the fact that we are all gamers. Starcraft II has a following in which the stars are fans and the fans can become stars. RH Gaming has capitalized on that sense of fellowship by creating a place where the fans and stars join as one. By doing so, we’ve created a close knit relationship with our fan base and can easily gain a highly retentive following of individuals with a sincere emotional attachment to our players. So far, this has been a very lucrative business model. Although our strongest foundation is in North America, we are developing a consistent contingent of users from around the world. Competitive gaming has become deeply rooted not only in US culture, but internationally as well. In fact, in many countries the popularity of eSports has grown to rival that of traditional sports. One of the fastest developing initiatives at RH Gaming revolves around our streaming and casting opportunities. The early stages of this initiative were conducted with the hosting of Starcraft II tournaments, which continue at a great pace today. However, we have recently seen immense success with our coverage and participation in the Diablo 3 beta test. With the explosion of social media platforms we understand, like many others, the opportunities in using the these tools to connect with our audience. It will be encouraged for both members and fans to utilize the service to stay up to date with news, giveaways and team updates while they get to know their fellow gamers.
