Clouds –are visible white or dark colored masses of tiny drops of water.
Slide 3:
Today you are going on a quest. All of you are going to be cloud detectives, and at the end of this lesson you should know what a cloud is and be able to describe three types of clouds.
Slide 4:
Cirrus –these clouds are high and thin, they appear during good weather.
Slide 5:
Cumulus-these clouds are fluffy looking, they look like huge, cotton balls.They indicate warm and sunny weather.
Slide 6:
Clouds are made when air rises. As the blob of air rises it expands and gets colder. As the piece of air gets colder tiny drops of water come together and a cloud is formed.
Slide 7:
Stratus – these clouds are flat. They are low clouds and they indicate rainy weather.
