My partner and I were thus required to learn new phrases in English as well as in Hebrew in order to convey the proper meaning of the poem or song we were translating… We both put many hours of work, more outside of school than in it, and will be glad to see the fruits of our work when our poems are published on the website for all to read. Shoshana Markowitz Slide 11: LCC Reflection "From all of the work that we have done with other students, I have learned how to look over other people's work and let them edit my own.” Slide 12: “Hey Reut! I’m Erika and I read your research project. First of all, I’d like to say that you did a good job on your wiki page. You provided the reader with good information that was easy to read, and the pictures were great.” Slide 13: To begin to explain what I have gained from this culture sharing project, would be like trying to teach a blind man to read! I gained so much from this project. Besides the fact that I learned about Canada, and about teens on the other side of the world, I have learned to be proud to be an Israeli, and to be proud of living in Israel. I hope to be able to recall this memory in years to come.
