Slide 2: 

Go to www.credituniontrainingonline.com/cuto/ Our user ID is ACUTX. Our password is training. Use your name plus your first initial as your employee ID (like our e-mail names.) Hit “enter.” (This information will be repeated for your convenience on the final slide of this presentation.) training

Slide 3: 

Click on the gray button.

Slide 4: 

You’ll get a welcome screen. Click on the arrow to continue.

Slide 5: 

Be sure to fill in the blanks on this screen. The program won’t work if you don’t.

Slide 6: 

You can get more information and instructions by clicking one of these buttons. When you are ready, click “Begin the Course.”

Slide 7: 

You’ll be presented with a series of case studies or mock transactions. In each case, you’re to decide whether you’d process the transaction or not.

Slide 8: 

You are usually presented with a check or deposit slip. Sometimes, you are presented with cash. By the way, you can “drag” cash around so you can look at the other bills that are beneath the first one.

Slide 9: 

By clicking on the icons on the left, you can look up items to help you decide, such as the back of the check, the person’s driver’s license, their signature card, their account screen, and their photo. The broom icon clears away all the extra items from your screen.

Slide 10: 

Sometimes, there will be an extra button to investigate. For instance, this one allows you to look at the deposit slip.

Slide 11: 

When you think you have enough information, click the yes or no button to indicate whether you would process this transaction.

Slide 12: 

You’ll get a response screen that tells you why you are right or wrong.

Slide 13: 

At the end, you will receive a certificate of achievement. 75% is a passing grade, but this “passing” grade lost the credit union $1,835.29. That’s why we are asking everyone to keep redoing the training until they get 100%. Repeating the program will train your brain and eyes to consistently look for signs of fraud. Management won’t get the final report of results until the end of your allotted time for finishing this course, so you have plenty of time.
