Slide 1:

Once upon a time t here was a little girl

Slide 2:

She lived in a land not so far away… …wherever you are

Slide 3:

She was a very, very lucky little girl.

Slide 4:

Let me tell you why…

Slide 5:

Her mother had a healthy pregnancy, and knew how to give this little girl the right start in life.

Slide 6:

This little girl started primary school at the right age.

Slide 7:

The school was not too far from her house. It was safe to walk there.

Slide 8:

There were nice female teachers.

Slide 9:

They didn’t make her pay money to attend.

Slide 10:

They even made sure she had a healthy meal while she was there !

Slide 11:

The little girl finished primary school – and she started secondary school.

Slide 12:

There were nice, clean, separate toilets for the girls. So she never had to miss school for ‘ girly’ reasons .

Slide 13:

She finished secondary school.

Slide 14:

And you know what? She got a scholarship...

Slide 15:

… and continued her studies.

Slide 16:

She graduated with the right skills, and she found a good, stable job.

Slide 17:

She earned the same as her male counterparts.

Slide 18:

Years later, when she was ready, she became a mother .

Slide 19:

Eventually, she became a leader in her field

Slide 20:

And she made sure that other women in her field were treated the same as the men.

Slide 21:

And everyone lived happily ever after.

Slide 23:

Does that sound like a fairy tale story to you?

Slide 24:

It doesn t have to be. ‘

Slide 25:
