Slide 6: Extrude it 13mm so that it looks something like this. Slide 7: Select & sketch on this edge the following. Slide 8: Draw the following to these dimensions. Slide 9: Make it look like this Slide 10: Extrude/Cut to match. Slide 11: Should look something like this. Slide 12: Select this surface and draw the following to get the center. Slide 13: Draw 13 dia circle Slide 14: Extrude the circle 51mm out. Slide 15: Should look something like this Slide 16: Chamfer 3D 1mm the circle shaft Slide 17: Should look something like this Slide 18: Select Thread & select the shaft as the face Slide 19: Pick Selection, ANSI Metric M Profile, Size 14, MX14x2, & 6g Slide 20: Should look something like this Slide 21: Save it as 11A-Arm to Your “U” drive & 11B-Nut Metric (IPT) Slide 24: Extrude it 10mm Slide 25: 3mm Radius Fillet top & bottom Slide 32: Save it as 11B-Nut to Your “U” drive & 11Arm&Nut- Metric Assembly Slide 34: Click on the Assemble button, Component tab, go find the 11A-Arm Insert it into the assembly Slide 35: Repeat for the 11B-Nut part Slide 36: Click on the Assemble button, Position button, Constrain Slide 37: Select the Arm’s shaft 1st, When you do you will see the new center line Slide 38: Then select the 11B-Nut & “tada” they are assembled! Slide 39: Make sure you Save As Your “U” Drive Inventor Folder P11-Arm & Nut Assembly Slide 40: Next, ADD the Tuner (ipt) to the Into a new Title block (idw) Slide 42: Right click your mouse On the Sheet 1 tab Then “Edit Sheet” Slide 43: Change the sheet size To “D” Slide 44: Add the parts & assembly Views scale = 2:1 & Isometric scale = 2:1 Assembly of both Isometirc scale = 4:1 Slide 45: Should look like this. Now Annotate or add dimensions to match Slide 49: Change the iProporties so That the Titleblock Info. matches Slide 50: Make sure you Save As Your “U” Drive Inventor Folder P11-Arm & Nut Assembly Drawing Slide 51: Print the drawing as a PDF Upload the DRAWING to Moodle for grading.
