Research a multi stage process The research is called multi stage process because it i nvolves several stages . This stage is must be followed in order to complete the research project.

Formulating and clarifying a topic The research problem is well defined and the research questions and objectives that flow from it are specific and possible to address through a rigorous research design. Resource requirement in term of finance, time and data access are well understood early in research process. The research is expected to make a contribution to knowledge.

Reviewing the literature A literature review is a critical and in depth evaluation of previous research. It is a summary and synopsis of a particular area of research, allowing anybody reading the paper to establish why you are pursuing this particular research program. A good literature review expands upon the reasons behind selecting a particular research question.
