Introducing.. Esther Kelly This is her story through photos, depicting a young girl who is always helping others in need. Esther’s current mission is delivering homemade soup on a weekly basis to elderly members of her church congregation.

Slide 3:

At the age of 9, Esther was the inspiration to many when she was able to collect & deliver approx 4000 soft toys to children who were victims of the tsunami in Sri Lanka. © Otago Daily Times © Otago Daily Times

Slide 4:

Through fundraising & generous donations from the public, Esther was able to travel to Sri Lanka with mother Julie & distribute some of the toys themselves while also teaching their children’s ministry of puppetry.

Slide 5:

Esther is only 13 years old, but every weekend she takes an afternoon to prepare, cook & deliver a range of different tasty soups to elderly.

Many thanks to everyone who participated in the making of this project, including my mum Julie, my little sister Esther and with a special mention for Great Aunty Edna, who since the photograph was taken suffered a fall & now resides at a local rest home. Esther, may you continue to do many great things for people as you progress through life..The world definitely needs more people like you. Rana Kelly
