Interview : 

Interview carries 300 marks. Calls sent on the basis of min marks fixed by the UPSC overall ranking done based on the Mains performance (i.e., 2000 marks) and interview. Candidates allotted services based on ranks and preferences given by them. Note: If a person fails in either in mains or interview, he has to appear once again from the preliminary stage.
